Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 sticks margarine
    5 eggs (room temperature)
    1 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add milk and flour alternately.
    Put in greased and floured tube pan. Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes without opening oven door.
    This makes a very large cake.
