Refrigerator Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage, shredded
    1 c. sugar
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard
Preparation
    Mix together cabbage, sugar, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper and set aside.
    Mix vinegar, oil, celery seed and mustard together and boil for 5 minutes.
    Pour over cabbage mixture and do not stir!
    Let stand refrigerated overnight, remove and stir well. Stays fresh for 8 to 10 days.
