Peanut Butter Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    3/4 to 1 c. peanut butter
    2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Put 2 cups of sugar in frying pan, then add milk.
    Pan should be on medium heat.
    Add vanilla flavoring.
    Heat and stir until it comes to a low boil.
    Put a drip in a cup of cold water.
    If it forms a hard ball in the water, then it's ready to add peanut butter slowly.
    Could use from 3/4 to 1 cup.
    Then add margarine. On low heat, stir until cloudy.
    Then put in an 8 x 10-inch container.
