Brunswick Stew(Vegetarian) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans corn Niblets
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    6 slices crisp bacon
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 small clove garlic, minced
    1 pkg. frozen okra (optional)
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Brown bacon, remove from pan and
    reserve
    2 tablespoons bacon drippings.\tSaute onion and pepper until slightly tender, pour into
    large skillet or Dutch oven.\tAdd
    corn,
    tomatoes, bacon and 2 tablespoons bacon drippings.\tAdd
    garlic,
    pepper and salt. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes, adding
    okra
    (if
    desired) for the last six minutes.
    Stir lightly twice during cooking.
