Fresno Potato Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. potatoes
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. milk
3 Tbsp. melted butter
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
3/4 c. seasoned croutons, slightly crushed
4 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
4 green onions, thinly sliced
Preparation

Place unpeeled potatoes in 3-quart pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are just tender when pierced, about 20 minutes.
Drain well.
When cool enough to handle, peel and cut into 1/4-inch slices.
In a greased shallow 2-quart casserole, arrange half of the potato slices.
Top with half of the bacon and onion.
Stir milk into sour cream.
Spread 1/2 of this over the bacon and onion, then half of the cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Repeat layers.
Sprinkle top with croutons and drizzle butter over all.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 45 minutes.
