Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, shredded
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (10 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    2 c. fresh minced tomatoes
    6 taco shells
    1/2 c. taco sauce
    1 medium onion, minced
    sour cream (optional)
Preparation
    Brown ground beef; drain.
    Add minced onion, taco sauce and stewed tomatoes.
    Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
    Add meat mixture to shells and arrange lettuce, cheese and tomatoes.
    Toss lightly. Serve at once.
    Yields 6 servings.
