T'S Dole Golden Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 pkg. instant pudding mix (vanilla)
    1 (16 oz.) frozen pound cake, thawed
    sliced almonds
Preparation
    Combine undrained pineapple, whipped topping and pudding mix. Let stand for 5 minutes.
    Cut cake lengthwise into 3rds.
    Spread 1/3 pudding mixture over each layer of cake, ending with pudding on top.
    Chill 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
    Serves 12.
