Icebox Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. cucumbers, sliced
    1 c. onions, sliced in rings
    1 large green pepper, diced or strips
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 tsp. celery seed
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Wash cucumbers and score with tines of fork.
    (Press fork tines into cucumber flesh and peel length of cuke.)
    Do not peel.
    Slice about 1/8-inch or thickness of your choice.
    Slice onions into rings and separate.
    Slice or dice green pepper.
