Ingredients

1 (8 3/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple or 1 c., drained (keep juice)
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Use mixer on medium speed to mix Crisco and brown sugar.
Add egg and vanilla.
Continue to mix until well blended.
Add drained pineapple to mixture; then add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Bake 8 to 9 minutes at 400\u00b0 on lightly greased cookie sheets.
While cookies are warm, glaze with confectioners sugar and pineapple juice, mixed together to make thin glaze.
Makes approximately four dozen.
