My Own Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. stew beef
    1 medium onion
    2 carrots, cut up
    3/4 medium potato, cut up
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 can tomatoes
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 c. white wine
    water to cover
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except potato.
    Add potato when stew is almost done.
    Bring stew to boil and then lower to simmer until done.
