Stollen - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. butter or margarine
4 Tbsp. Crisco
1 c. sugar
4 egg yolks
1 pt. milk
5 pkg. yeast
2 1/2 lb. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 tsp. almond extract
rind of 2 lemons
1 c. chopped almonds
1 lb. raisins
8 oz. pkg. cake glaze (if desired)
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in milk; add flour and remaining ingredients (except glaze).
Knead dough well, then let rise in warm oven until double in bulk.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Glaze if desired.
