New Zealand Panlova - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 egg whites
2 Tbsp. cold water
pinch of salt
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat egg whites, water and salt until stiff.
Add 3/4 cup of sugar and beat again.
Into remaining 1/4 cup of sugar add cornstarch.
Add this to egg mixture and beat some more.
Keep beating until mixture looks marshmallowy, then add vanilla and beat into mixture.
Spray Pam on baking sheet.
Cut a piece of waxed paper to fit and place in baking sheet.
Spray waxed paper with Pam.
Pour egg white mixture on the waxed paper.
Put in oven at ???\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
Reduce heat to ???\u00b0 and bake for 1 hour.
Do not open oven door.
Turn off heat and allow to set for 1/2 hour.
