Parsley-Basil Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cloves garlic, crushed
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    3 (8 oz.) cans minced clams
    1/2 bottle clam juice
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    1/2 c. chopped fresh basil or 1 Tbsp. dried leaves
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Saute garlic in butter and oil 3 minutes or until soft.
    Stir in clams and liquid clam juice, parsley, basil and pepper.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Spoon clam sauce over hot spaghetti or linguini. Makes 3 cups.
