Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium sweet potatoes
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
    3/4 c. butter, melted
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 tsp. each: nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wash and bake sweet potatoes until almost fork-tender (about 45 to 50 minutes).
    Cool.
    Scoop potatoes out of skins and mash, there should be about 2 cups.
    Mix potatoes and remaining ingredients until smooth.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until knife inserted in center comes out clean (50 minutes). Garnish with whipped cream.
    Makes 1 (9-inch) pie; preparation time: 45 minutes; cooking time: 1 1/2 hours.
