No-Bake Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 pkg. butterscotch chips (12 oz.)
    4 c. quick oatmeal (not instant)
    cut up nut meats (optional)
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, combine sugar, milk and margarine.
    Bring to a boil while stirring.
    Remove from heat; mix in the chips. Stir and melt.
    Add the oatmeal and mix well.
    Drop dough from spoon onto a waxed paper lined tray.
    When cooled they are ready to enjoy.
