Perfect Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. shortening
Preparation
    Sift flour
    with sugar, baking powder and salt; stir in corn meal.
    Add\teggs,
    milk and shortening.
    Beat with rotary or electric beater until just smooth.\t(Do not overbeat.) Pour into greased 9

    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
