Apple Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. oatmeal
    3/4 c. melted butter
    3 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1 c. white sugar
    apples
Preparation
    In saucepan combine white sugar and cornstarch.
    Cook until thick.
    Add vanilla and salt.
    Pare apples, slice and add to cooked mixture.
    In another bowl, combine crumbs mixture, flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and melted butter.
    In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, put in 1/2 of the crumb mixture, then add cooked mixture and top with other half crumb mixture, spreading evenly.
    Add 1 cup water throughout.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
