Cold Drink - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oranges
    2 lemons
    2 oz. citric acid
    7 c. sugar
    6 c. water
Preparation
    Grate lightly the peel of both fruits.
    Squeeze fruit; put peel and juice in large pan.
    Add citric acid, water and sugar.
    Bring to a full boil.
    Let stand for 24 hours.
    Strain into jars.
    When ready to use, dilute this \"syrup\" with three parts water.
