Yankee Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. meaty pork spareribs
    1 lemon, thinly sliced
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 c. vinegar or lemon juice
    1 c. catsup
Preparation
    Spread ribs, meaty side up, in roasting pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange lemon slices on ribs and brown, uncovered in 450\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
