Hearty Manicotti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sweet sausage, cooked
    1 lb. ground beef, cooked
    1 onion, diced
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomato puree
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1 tsp. sugar
    pepper, basil and salt to taste
    4 c. Ricotta cheese
    8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
    Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. manicotti shells
Preparation
    Cook
    the
    sausage
    and
    beef.\tAdd
    the
    onion, tomato puree, tomato paste, sugar, pepper, basil and salt to the meat mixture. Cook
    the
    manicotti
    shells;
    drain
    and set aside. Mix
    together the Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese
    and parsley;
    stuff
    in
    the cooked manicotti shells. Spoon
    meat sauce into baking pan.
    Put stuffed shells on meat sauce.
    Pour leftover
    meat
    sauce over shells; sprinkle with Parmesan. Preheat oven to 325\u00b0 and bake for 30 minutes.
