Spanish Bean Soup(Florida Cracker Style) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 meaty ham bone
    2 cans garbanzo beans
    3 large potatoes, 1/2-inch chunks
    4 chorizos, cut in 1/2-inch chunks
    3 Vidalia onions (large slices)
    1 head garlic or more
    garlic herb seasoning
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    In a large heavy pot, put in bone and cover with water.
    Add 2 onions and garlic. Bring to a low boil and cook for 30 minutes. Now add pepper, herb seasoning, chorizos and garbanzo beans. Simmer for 45 minutes.
    Add potatoes and the last onions.
    Taste, add more garlic if needed. Simmer for 1 hour.
    Serve with warm Cuban bread.
