Sweet-Sour Bean Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cooked white kidney beans, drained
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
1 (20 oz.) can chickpeas, drained
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1/2 c. sliced celery
1/2 green pepper, thinly sliced or part red pepper or pimiento
1/3 c. salad oil
1/2 c. vinegar
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. pepper
Boston lettuce
Preparation
-
Put vegetables in large bowl.
Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over vegetables and mix gently.
Chill several hours or overnight.
Serve on Boston lettuce.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
