Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cut-up chicken
3 chopped onions
1 sliced carrot
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (14 oz.) can cut-up tomatoes
1 lb. shelled raw shrimp
2 c. cooked rice
Preparation

In slow cooking pot, combine chicken with onions, carrot, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper and tomatoes.
Cover and cook on low 4 to 5 hours.
Turn control to high.
Add shrimp and rice. Cover and cook on high for 30 to 40 minutes or until shrimp is done.
