Cheddar Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    3/4 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Combine all but the last 2 ingredients in a casserole.
    Mix the corn flakes crumbs with 1/4 cup melted butter and spread over the potato mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 6.
