Shortbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour (plain)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Roll dough into small balls and place on cookie sheet.
    Flatten each one with fork.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Makes 30 to 40 cookies.
