Honey Apple Pie * - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. honey
1/3 c. heavy cream
5 tart apples peeled, cored and cut in thin slices
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Sprinkle bottom of pastry with 1 tablespoon each of sugar and flour.
Combine the remaining sugar and flour; stir in honey and cream.
Pour mixture over apples.
Mix gently until slices are well coated.
Spoon apples into pie shell.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg and dot with butter.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
