Corned Beef Balls In Celery Sauce - cooking recipe

1 (12 oz.) can corned beef
1 slice bread, cut in cubes
1 beaten egg
1 large potato (raw), peeled and grated or chopped fine
1 Tbsp. minced onion
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 can cream of celery soup
3/4 c. hot water
Preparation

Flake corned beef with fork.
Add bread, onion, egg and potato; mix.
Shape into 12 balls and brown on all sides in hot butter in frypan.
Place in casserole dish.
Add hot water to celery soup and mix.
Pour over balls.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Serves 4 to 6.
Can be prepared the day before, adding soup when ready to cook.
