Coconut Pecan Filling And Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. evaporated milk
    3 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 1/3 c. Baker's Angel Flake coconut
Preparation
    Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla in a saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens, almost 10 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add coconut and pecans.
    Beat until cool and spread between layers, top and sides of cake.
