Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 strips bacon
1 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 1/2 c. diced potatoes
2 c. water
1 tsp. granulated chicken bouillon
1/4 c. flour
2 c. milk
1 c. light cream
1 (16 oz.) pkg. corn
8 oz. cubed American cheese
pepper to taste
Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp in a
large pot or kettle.
Remove. Saute onions, celery and potatoes.
Add water and seasonings. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
Combine flour with milk.
Add to kettle and cook until thickened.
Add corn, cream, cheese and bacon.
Stir very frequently.
Serve when cheese is melted and soup
is hot!
