Joyce Yawn'S French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced onions
    2 cans beef broth
    2 cans water
    Swiss or Mozzarella cheese
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 stick butter or margarine
    croutons
Preparation
    Saute onions and margarine until tender but not brown.
    Add flour, broth and water.
    Simmer for 45 minutes covered.
    Pour servings in soup bowls.
    Top with sliced cheese (2 slices make it better).
    Put a few croutons on top of cheese and place under broiler until cheese melts.
