Pecan Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 egg, separated
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add flour, cinnamon and egg yolk to butter and sugar; mix well.
    Put into ungreased 11 x 16-inch pan. Pour unbeaten egg white over top and spread with back of spoon. Pour off excess.
    Press nuts over top.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Remove from oven.
    Cut after 3 to 5 minutes.
