Sharon'S Gourmet Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Irish potatoes
    1 c. shredded mild Cheddar cheese
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. real butter + 2 Tbsp.
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    1 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Cook potatoes (cook whole in skin).
    Cool thoroughly.
    Shred potatoes coarsely.
    Combine mild and sharp cheeses, 1/4 cup butter and 1/2 cup sweet milk; cook over low heat until cheeses melt.
    Add sour cream, onion, salt and pepper.
    Put shredded potatoes in 9 x 13-inch glass pan, pour mixture over potatoes and dot with remaining butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes, until golden brown.
    Serves 4 to 6.
