Apple Cake(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. chopped apples
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Put apples in bowl.
Add sugar and mix.
Let stand 10 minutes. Add egg and oil.
Sift and measure flour.
Mix all ingredients and add to apple mixture.
Add raisins and nuts.
Bake in 9-inch square pan at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
