Fruit Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. green candied cherries
1/2 c. candied red cherries
1/2 c. candied pineapple
1/3 c. dates, chopped
1/3 c. raisins, chopped
1/3 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Cream the sugar and butter together; add the eggs and beat well.
Sift the dry ingredients together and mix into the creamed mixture.
Mix all together very well.
Add the fruit and nuts and blend all together.
Put bar mixture into a greased jelly roll pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
When cooled, cut into bars.
