White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. white sugar
    5 eggs
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. lemon extract
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    4 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    3/4 lb. candied cherries, chopped
    1 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
    Mix in flavorings.
    Add flour and baking powder.
    Beat until blended. Fold in pecans and fruits.
    Turn into a 10-inch tube pan lined with greased waxed paper.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Cool.
    Keep refrigerated or can be frozen.
