Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

1 (32 oz.) pkg. hash brown potatoes, thawed
1/2 c. melted butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
12 oz. grated cheese
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 small onion, chopped
2 c. crushed corn flakes
1/2 c. butter, melted
Preparation

Place thawed potatoes in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Mix together next 6 ingredients and spoon over potatoes.
Top with crushed corn flakes and drizzle with butter.
Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Serves 12.
