Pumpkin Swirl Squares - cooking recipe

1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
3 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia brand cream cheese, softened
Preparation

Combine pumpkin, 1 1/2 cups sugar, oil and 2 eggs, mixing until well blended.
Add combined dry ingredients; mix well. Combine cream cheese and remaining sugar and egg, mixing until well blended.
Spoon pumpkin mixture into greased and floured 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
Spoon cream cheese mixture over pumpkin batter.
Cut through batter with knife several times for a marble effect.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes, or until wooden toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Cool; cut into squares.
