Grandmama Alsie'S Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    2/3 c. Crisco
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. grated sharp cheese
Preparation
    Sift flour in bowl.
    With spoon, mix in Crisco and milk.
    Just before kneading, add cheese and mix until thoroughly kneaded, using extra flour as needed.
    Roll out to about 1/2 inch and cut out or make small biscuits by hand.
    Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 500\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
