Southwest Taco Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 deep dish pie crust
    1 lb. ground chuck
    3/4 c. chopped onions
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 can refried beans
    1 jar taco sauce, divided usage
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    shredded lettuce
    chopped tomatoes
Preparation
    Preheat oven and baking sheet to 400\u00b0. Partially bake pie crust for 10 minutes; cool. Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0. Brown ground chuck and onion in a skillet; drain fat.
    Stir in taco seasoning mix and a little bit of water.
    Combine refried beans and 1/2 cup taco sauce in a mixing bowl. Layer 1/2 meat mixture in bottom of pie shell, then half of bean mixture. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake 25 minutes. Remove from oven; cool, then top with lettuce, tomatoes and sauce. Makes 6 servings.
