Linguini With Scallops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. linguini
3 Tbsp. butter, divided
2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 c. chopped scallions
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb. sea or bay scallops
1/2 c. chicken broth
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. half and half
1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation

Cook linguini. Drain and cover to keep hot.
Melt 1 tablespoon butter in skillet. Add mushrooms, scallions and garlic. Saute until tender. Add scallops, broth, dash of salt, thyme and pepper. Cover and simmer 5 minutes or until scallops are tender. Add parsley.
