Hot Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1/3 c. vinegar plus water to make 1/2 c.
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    5 c. diced cooked potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    Cook bacon; crumble. Combine 1/3 cup bacon drippings, 1 egg, salt, pepper, vinegar and water. Heat and stir until thickened. Add potatoes, onion and bacon. Toss. Heat through.
