Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3/4 c. white Crisco shortening
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
apples, peeled, cored and sliced
Preparation

Prepare dough from first five ingredients.
Roll into walnut-sized balls.
Roll each ball out thin with rolling pin. Fill with apples.
Form into dumplings and place into baking dish.
