Evie'S Candy Cake(Mama'S) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or Crisco
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda (level)
5 eggs
Preparation

Cream the sugar and butter.
Beat eggs separately.
Save 4 whites for frosting.
Add eggs and cream until fluffy.
Sift flour and soda together.
Add alternately with the milk.
Add vanilla. Use Pam in cake pans or grease and flour the pans.
Bake in 4 layers in moderate oven at 350\u00b0.
