Mom'S Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine all dry ingredients; cut in shortening.
    Add buttermilk and yeast to mixture.
    Cover and refrigerate.
    Will keep for 2 weeks.
    When ready to use, roll out as much dough as needed.
    Cut into biscuit-size.
    Bake in a greased pan at 400\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
