Orange Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour, sifted 2 times
1/2 tsp. salt, sifted with flour
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. buttermilk, with 1 rounded tsp. soda
1 grated orange rind
1 tsp. vanilla
1 grated orange rind (for basting)
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk.
Add one grated orange rind and vanilla.
Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0.
Bake in tube pan.
