Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    cilantro to taste
    3 average size tomatoes (fresh or canned)
    1/4 c. margarine
Preparation
    Brown the rice with the margarine.
    When it is as brown as you like it, add the onion, bell pepper, garlic and cilantro.
    Also add salt and pepper to taste.
    Continue to stir until the onion becomes clear looking.
    Add the tomatoes; stir.
    Cover; let simmer until rice is done.
    You may want to add water, also.
    Just don't add too much; otherwise, you will lose the flavor and it will be flat. Continue to watch it so it does not scorch.
