Sour Cream Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan.
    Cream margarine and 2 1/4 cups sugar until light; add egg yolks one at a time, beating well. Add vanilla, lemon and almond extracts.
    Stir together flour and baking soda, then add to batter mixture alternately with sour cream.
    Mix well; stir in pecans.
    Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; add 1/2 cup sugar and fold egg whites into batter. Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
