German Chocolate Filling And Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, combine milk, egg yolks and butter.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
    Remove from heat; add remaining ingredients.
    Cool until thick enough to hold shape, stirring occasionally.
    Frosts two 9-inch round layer cakes.
