World'S Best Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 large eggs
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. sweet milk
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg is added. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Place in large tube pan which has been greased and floured. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
