Kourabiedes 2 - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sweet butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar, sifted
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. baking powder
1 oz. whiskey
5 c. flour
Preparation

Melt butter
and
let
stand
until cool.
Beat at high speed until light and fluffy (1/2 hour).\tAdd 1/4 cup powdered sugar, egg
yolk
and
whiskey;
beat
thoroughly.
Add baking powder to flour
and\tsift
together.
Use
low speed and add flour to butter mixture. Add a little at a time until you have a soft dough.
Shape
and\tplace on cookie sheet; bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Do
not brown.
Place on waxed paper and sift powdered sugar over cookies.
